Mary Weir (daughter of James Weir and Catherine Russell)¹⁶²⁴ was born Apr 1841 in Helensborough, Scotland^{1625, 1626}, and died 09 Sep 1905 in Chicago, Cook, IL¹⁶²⁶. She married Adam Bauld on 28 Aug 1857 in Row, Dunbarton, Scotland¹⁶²⁷, son of David Bald and Barbara Tomlison.

In the Cook County, IL 1900 census, Mary is living with Frank Moran and her daughter, Kate Bauld Moran. She states that she is a widow and that she has had 9 children, only 4 of which are still alive.
