James Ivy Roberts (b. 11 Aug 1872, d. 15 Dec 1933)

James Ivy Roberts (son of John William Roberts and Catherine Frances Rushin)¹³⁵⁹ was born 11 Aug 1872 in Linton, Hancock, GA^{1359, 1360}, and died 15 Dec 1933 in Hancock Co., GA¹³⁶⁰. He married Elizabeth Louisa Moran on 19 Dec 1900 in Linton, Hancock Co., GA^{1361, 1362}, daughter of James Barnes Moran and Louisa Ann Maria Franklin.

Notes for James Ivy Roberts:
* He was cutting down a tree after storm and it was under some pressure. When he cut it, it sprang up and hit him in the groin. According to Grandmother Roberts, "his testicles had swollen to the size of basketballs" before he died several days after the accident.
* later did some farming and had a small store at home till about time of automobiles
