A union of two large Vermont families with the 1943 marriage of Terry Lizotte of Lyndonville Vermont, and Marguerite Spaulding of Morrisville brings a mix of culture, French and English, to one of many small Vermont towns.
The year 2002 will see a Reunion of the Lizotte Family in West Chesterfield NH on July 6, and a Reunion of the Spaulding Family in Bridport Vermont on July 4. Each will feature picnics, lots of food and good eating, get together of friends and family members who may not have seen one another for many years. Each will feature lots of collected and detailed information on the genealogy of the family back to England and France in the sixteenth century.
This has been an annual event for the Spaulding Family, descendants of Carroll Benjamin Spaulding and Marjorie Earle of Morrisville VT, for about thirty years, but is the first for the Lizotte family, descendants of Emile Joseph Lizotte and Adelia Ouellette of Lyndonville VT.
