I began researching my family history about 2 years ago when I became interested in my great grandfather John Thomas Lee born in 1864 in the Leicestershire village of Kibworth Beauchamp.
I have gone on to look back over my fathers family of Rileys from Stoney Stanton Leicestershire. And the Burrow family from Stoney Stanton.
My father Frank parents were Florence Mary Lee and Hubert Reginald Riley. Hubert and his brother Charles were the sons of Charles Riley of Stoney Stanton and Alice Burrows. Charles's father was John Riley and his mother Sarah Ann Church who died after giving birth to about her 6th child. John Riley was the son of Thomas Riley and Ann Holyland married 1843. Thomas was the son of John Riley and Hannah Adcock married 1821. John is the son of Thomas Riley and Elizabeth Norton married 1794.
I have also researched Alice Burrows family. Her parents were James and Caroline nee Taylor. James's father is an Aaron Burrows and I have to proceed back from there.
