A little history: I [Johan Loeve] started this family tree of the Loeve's. So far only relatives and ancestors known are in the Netherlands. It would be nice if someone else would be able to carry on with some other branch of the Loeve family. I invite you to e-mail me at johnloeve@mybc.com. Confused about the name? I started life in Rotterdam, Netherlands with the name Joan during childhood. As I got older I changed it to Johan. Since Joan is a girl's name in English this would not have worked in North America, subsequently changed it to John (at work that is) once I emigrated to Canada.
