I am researching my family tree. I was born, Catheleen Anne Logan, December 26, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan. I am the daughter of John W. Logan, and Catherine Veronica Kennedy(Logan)Sivachenko. My Mother, Catherine, is the daughter of Daniel Joseph Kennedy and Mary Sands Kennedy of Detroit Michigan. My Father is the son of John Walter Logan and Genivive Rose Curry Logan of Detroit Michigan and London Ontario, Canada. My mother was married a second time to Eugene Walter Sivachenko (California). My Mother had four sisters, Rose (Reiner), Teresa (Dinkleman), Mary (Gasiel) and Anne (Dashner). My father had two sisters Colleta Logan and Ester (Forrest). I have two brothers Daniel Joseph Logan and Douglas Eugene Sivachenko and two sisters, Cynthia Anne Logan (Steffen) and Colleen Anne Logan
(Ramirez). My grandparents (The Kennedys) came to the United States with three of their daughters, Mary, Rose, and Anne, then they had Catherine and Teresa in Detroit, where they settled, My Grandfather worked for Ford Motor Company for 37 years. My fathers family originated in Scotland. My Mother's father's family (Kennedy) originated in Ireland and my Mother's Mother's family (Sands) originated in Scotland. My Grandmother, Mary Sands Kennedy spoke Galic and wrote in Galic. My grandparents came to Detroit from London Ontario. The Logans were morticians and ranchers in London Ontario. My grandparents moved to Detroit where they began there family. My father was born in Detroit. My Parents met and married in Detroit. John W. Logan was military and my brother Daniel (b. 1948) was born in Ft. Lewis Washington, Cynthia (b. 1952), Colleen (b. 1955) and I (Catheleen, b. 1955) were born in Detroit and then my parents moved us to California (1956). My parents divorced and Mom remarried in 1959 to Eugene Walter Sivachenko. My brother Douglas was born in Redding, California 1960. I have many cousins in the Detroit area, to name a few: Margie, Gary, Roberta and Don Dashner; Nicolas and Rick Dinkleman; Patricia, Michael, Edward Gasciel; Philip, Steven, Michelle and Kim Reiner. I would like to hear from anyone who may have information on this geneology.
