In memory and honor of my parents, Milton Lohr and Carolyne Svetlik, these are listings for the descendants of the families of Lohr, Zellner, Weifenbach (on Milton's side) and Svetlik, Sedlacek, and Uhlir (on Carolyne's side). Please see the following trees for details.
After 20 years of research by myself and many other 'cousins', this site hopes to aid other family members in the search for their place in the family tree. Compiled from family hymnals, city directories, census, civil, church and cemetary records (not to mention a trip to the homeland in 1986), these listings are intended to help locate family and to hopefully increase the history with new information as relatives discover their connection to the families.
The wonderful thing about a family tree is that it keeps growing. There is always something new to learn as well as something old to share. With families in different countries as well as coast to coast, keeping up with new additions has always been a challenge. Enjoy the information and help keep it current. I'm interested in finding new connections, especially concerning the 1700's and earlier.
