Researching into my family history from 1946 to 1700's, with the main names of my family tree of LONGSTAFF & SCOTT, from Scotland, England and America to Australia, they all travelled by sailing ship to new lands. From John Longstaff born 1810 in Bishop Auckland Durham England to myself born 1946 and from John Scott born 1840 in Gorbals Glasgow Scotland (ship purser on the SS Gt Britain) on my mothers side as also looking for lost ancestors in New York in 1842 - 1852 and then from 1853 in the goldfields of Victoria and New South Wales.
