William Lord Sr. was a Rev. soilder and a noble patriot. He was born in 1747 and died in 1825 in Wilkinson County. Members of the family have recently found an old grave site that may be his. Pending research is continuing at this present time.
William Lord Sr. is my great, great, great, great grandfather, who was a decendant of Richard Lord, who was born in 1555, and died in 1610 in England. Richard's wife is Joan (?).
His son Thomas Lord, was born in 1585, in Towchester Co. Northampton, England. He was married to Dorothy Byrd, Feb. 20,1609/1610. They departed London on April 19, 1635 on the "Elizabeth and Ann". He was age 50 and wife was age 46.
