I began tracing my heritage over 3 years ago and thanks to geneology.com I have been contacted by a cousin I didn't know I had. My parents James Richard Lorance and Frieda Ellen Johnson Lorance celebrated their 50th anniversary on Oct 8, 2000. Happily, my brother, his wife, an Uncle, cousin, and I were able to celebrate it with them.
I have not been able to find any information on my grandmother Ailene Alice Glen Lorance. No one knows where she was born or her parents names. I sent to Arkansas for a birth certificate but she was not born there. I don't know what to do next. She had 2 brothers, Lawrence of Kennett Mo. and Oscar of Nashville, Tenn. I am searching for them or their families now.
