Emma Betteridge Franklin and Oliver Franklin hail from the Glocestershire, England area. They met, married and raised a family of 11 children there. Eventually, all of the children came to the United States, specifically, Michigan. They settled in areas around Brown City, Peck, Omard, & Port Huron to name a few. Some of the 11 children eventually came to the Detroit area and surrounding suburbs. We are holding our 2nd Annual Franklin Family Reunion on Saturday, October 7, 2006 in Milford, MI.
