I have always been interested in my family's history. My Daddy and my Uncle Jim laid the groundwork for me. There was no internet then either for them to look things up. They did it all the hard way. In the meantime, my interest was peaked when I had to do a History Fair assignement in 8th grage. I earned a ribbon for it too. I have been interested since then. Now that I realize the importance of family, I want to find out all I can. Since Daddy knows so much about my family and Mom doesn't, I thought I would start with her side of the family. It is frustrating to say the least. They all seem to exist but don't. SO I search for hers until I get really frustrated and then I take a break and look at some of Daddy's side of the family. I want so bad to be able to have something to give my Mom about her family. So if you are breezing through my website and see a name of someone who sounds familiar, by all means, check it out.
