Notes for Laura May Lowry: Born at Roseville Community Hospital in Roseville, Calif. She attended Parker Whitney and Rocklin Elementary Schools in Rocklin, Oakmont High School in Roseville, and Sierra College in Rocklin. She also attended Indian Valley Junior College in Novato and Chico State in Chico before she enrolled at Sacramento State where she received a BA in Communications in 1991. She was employed by LOWRY & associates as a P.R. representative; an Orthodontist as a receptionist, and Stewart Title Co. as a secretary - receptionist. She returned to Sacramento State to study Psychology, then transferred to CSPP-Fresno to complete her studies. She received a Masters Degree in 1998 and was awarded a PsyD in 2000 after a year of Internship at the Hudson River Psychiatric Hospital at Poughkeepsie, and the out-patient facility at Carmel, New York. Upon completing her Internship she accepted employment at the Poughkeepsie facility. In Aug 2001 she returned to Calif. and was employed at Fall Creek Counselling in Roseville and Citrus Heights. She took the exam for Licensing by the State of California as a Psychologist on Oct. 23, 2001. She passed the exam and was licensed as a Doctor of Psychology. She went into private practice , Oct. 2003. Laura was married to John Francis Chavez on November 22, 2003 at Saint Elizabeth Catholic Church in Sacramento, CA
