Notes for Valree May Harrison: Valree Harrison was the first child of John Thomas Harrison and Mary Matilda Redfield who married about 1892 in Maud, Bowie County, Texas. She wrote a narrative of her childhood and her family's travels from Maud to Roswell, New Mexico covering the period of 1897 to 1910. The information contained in this narrative has helped identify a number of relatives, especially those who moved to Bowie and Cass Counties in the period of 1880-1900. [ I have found Harrisons, Redfields, Morrows, Beardens, Byrds, Kinneys, Finchers and am looking for others mentioned in her notes.]
