Henry Redfield II (son of Henry Redfield and Marion Chapell) was born September 21, 1824 in Indiana, and died April 07, 1902 in Sterling City,Texas. He married (1) Mary Murphy on February 13, 1851 in LA., daughter of John Murphy and Mary. He married (2) Amanda Fisher on January 14, 1864. He married (3) Harriet A. Clayton on July 11, 1865 in Bienville Parrish, Louisiana, daughter of James Clayton and Mary.

Henry Redfield(461), third son of Henry(164), son of Richard(44), son of Richard(13), is a farmer residing in Tooley, Catahoula Parrish, Louisiana, married February 13, 1851, Mary Murphy, born April 12, 1828 daughter of John and Mary Murphy.
This publication, by " Munsel & Rowland, 78 State St., New York, N.Y.", was dated 1860. ( Only three children are shown for this marriage; (1160) Henry Wesley Redfield, b. May 19,1854 ,d. July 24,1858 ; (1161) Elizabeth Redfield, b.February 2,1856 and (1162) James Redfield, b.August 30,1858.)

Veterans Records obtained from the National Archives show that Henry Redfield appeared on the "Company Muster Roll" of Capt. J. B. Gibson's Company, 17th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry, C.S.A. [changed to 17th Regiment, Louisiana Infantry], Enrolled on Sept. 30, 1861 and as appearing on a Roll of Prisoners of War paroled at Vicksburg, Mississippi on July 4, 1863. These records include a copy of his signed parole dated July 10, 1863.
Henry was married a second time, January 14,1864 to Amanda Fisher. He was married a third time to Mrs. Harriet A. Byrd b. August 12,1835 the daughter of James and Mary Clayton. Harriet A. Redfield died June 22,1896, probably in Bowie County, Texas. Henry died April 8,1902 and was buried on the extreme west of the graveyard in Sterling City, Texas according to notes made Mary Matilda and Harriet Madonna.
