Notes for GEORGE KINSER: George Kinser left Tennessee in 1867-1868 when he was in his 70's, after the death of America, and went with his son, Andrew Jackson, and 20 other families in a wogon train to Texas. Andrew's daughter, Dixie Ann, was born in 1866 in Greene Co, TX, and the next child, Margaret, was born in 1869 in Marble Falls, Burnet Co, TX. His death date is unknown, but he is buried in an unmarked grave next to his granddaughter, Maggie Kinser. Hi thelma I too am from the long line of kinser families living in greene county. George and america were my ggg grandparents. My family descended from James h. kinser one of georges sons from his second wife. James H. had several children, thomas kennard kinser who married mary alice seaton. They are buried at cedar hill. This union produced Lloyd, eula, dolly, charlie, william clark( my grandfather), as well as oscar, and ora. Most of the descendants from my line remain in greene county area. Perhaps we can continue to share information. Jacob kinser and america etter came to greene county area around 1809. I have george being born in virginia about 1791...??? I am confused about jacobs birth(where and when)..I am also confused about jacobs father and his birth( where and When) Please respond ------------------------------------------------------------------
