Tracing the Paths of My Ancestors

Updated June 5, 2004

About Our Family Research

I am currently researching the Goss/Henderson, Hoham/Astley, Bachtel/Walter, and Myers/Mead families. The Goss family came to Indiana from Ohio. The Astley family came from New York to Indiana. I do not have a lot of information on the Henderson's, Hoham's, or the Bachtel families, but I welcome the comments and input of anyone who may have some promising leads. The Mead's came from New England to Indiana. The Myers family came from Switzerland to Pennsylvania to Virginia to Indiana, the Walter's came from Pennsylvania to Ohio to Indiana, and the Bachtel's came from Pennsylvania and Maryland to Ohio to Indiana.
I love finding new cousins, so if you find any links to my family line, please e-mail me at: mlowder1216@yahoo.com
I want to thank "Biddy" Marks, my cousin in Indiana, who has done the majority of the research on the Hoham and Astley families. She is a gold mine! A thanks to Wendy Masterman of England, who is also my cousin, for her research on the Astley's on the other side of the Atlantic! Thanks to Russell Davis, of Michigan, for his help with the Mead family, and to Stefani Evans of Nevada, for her help in piecing together Levi Myers to Christian Myers. Thanks to Joyce Rose and Richard Conrad for their help on the Myers ancestry. Thanks to Becky Phillips and Jim Curtis, of Indiana, for thier help on the Bachtel and Walter families. To all the many other people who contributed pieces of information, I sincerely thank you.
