Campbells of Missouri --- Taylors of Oklahoma

Updated August 27, 2003

About Our Family Research

I have only just started my family tree and have already reached a stopping point. I believe the campbell side goes back to scottland but don't have it traced and proved. The Taylor side starts in Oklahoma and i have realtives in Texas (a great aunt and a great uncle who are still living).....

My research on the campbells ends with Jesse William Campbell who was born - raised - and buried in Missouri. He had 9 daughters and a son who died very young.

My research with the Taylor family starts with my grandfather and ends with no information on his father- Wesley David Taylor. Wesley David Taylor could have been a Junior but not sure. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and as far as the family remembers died and was buried in Oklahoma...somewhere. His Wife remarried and no one can remember her first name or her maden name. I only knew her as "great grandma williams" and she died a few years ago... before i got into tracing my family history.
