My name is Shirley Ann Lowery! I was originally named Shirley Ann Hartman! I was born on May 1,1957 at Robert B. Green Hospital at 10:p.m. in San Antonio,Texas! I never met my real father who is Alfred Dietrich Hartman! I was adopted by my step-father Marion Andrew Lowery and I was 5 years old at the time! My biological father was there to give up his rights to me as his daughter! Marion adopted me and my sister Delma Lee Lowery as his own 2 daughters! My mother told me that I said "I don't want this man to doctor me" everyone laughed! We lived on 1620 Probandt Street in the front of our house and we also had another address of 123 Moon Street in the back of our house! I attended Hillcrest Elementary School and later went to Joel Chandler Harris Jr. High and in 1971 when my mother received her inheritance money from the selling of the farm located in Marion, Texas, which came to a total of $18,000, we moved to Lancaster,Texas and I attended Lancaster High School which later was named Lancaster Elsie Robertson after our beloved counselor who we all loved and admired by especially me! I graduated on May 29,1975! My fist job was at Green& Green Manufacturing Company and I was making $4.00 per hour! I only worked there for 7 months! I helped to make Dilly Boat Trailers! I have 3 children: Anthony"Tony" David Martinez (30), Melissa "Lisa"Ann Martinez (27), and Anissia Mariah Espinoza (13), and my grand-daughters are Mahailah Raine Hulbutta (7) and Shylah Raianne Hulbutta (4)! I am one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I was baptized on July 29,1972! 38 years ago in Oklahoma City, Delma and I were baptized! I lost Marion Andrew Lowery on October ,1996! I lost my mother Alma Emma Schindler Lowery on September 19,2003! I lost my sister Delma Lee Lowery on December 18,2003! I have been divorced now for 6 years since September1,,2004! My 5th cousin is Oskar Schindler who through his great list saved 1000's of Jews who were on that list! I work at HeadStartof Greater Dallas 1 year in November 13th! Iam a substitute school teacher! Ilive with Anissia at 6637 Meade Street! We have lived here for 2 years now! She is entering the 7th grade at W.H.Atwell Middle School! I have 1 Aunt alive living in Hondo,Texas! She was the last child of 12 children to be born from the Schindler's and she is the only living child still alive and well! Her name is Erna Ruth Schindler Schueling Howard (78)!
