I WOULD LIKE TO FIND OUT MORE ABOUT MY FAMILY BACKGROUND AND WHERE THEY CAME FROM. I DO KNOW THAT MY ANCESTER WAS FOUND ON A DOORSTEPS OR A PORCH BACK BEFORE THE CIVIL WAR. HE WAS FOUND BY THE FAMILY OF PARISH , AND WHEN HE BECAME 21 YEAR OF AGE HE ADDED THE ER ON THE END OF HIS NAME SO I AM TOLD.I THINK HE SPELL HIS LAST NAME PARISHER OR PARRISHER/ THEY ARE FROM NORTH CAROLINA.
