The Hepner, Heppner, Hoeppner family is basically complete thanks to the dedicated efforts of a few of my distant relatives.
Pauline Heppner and a committee of others created a wonderful book called "THE HEPPNERS' in Prussia, Russia and America"
From information in this book, I can trace my ancestry back to 1632 in Friesland, near the Baltic Sea.
As time allows, I will update the ancestry portion of this tree.
I hope other relatives looking for information will find my page of assistance.
There is a Heppner reunion held in various parts of Canada every few years. I have never attended these but my sisters have and have found them to be a wonderful place to garner insights into our family traits.
This tree is about my father's roots. At this time I am focusing on my mothers ancestry. I am certain that she is a descendant of the House of Montrose in Scotland. That was a rumour but research seems to bear this out. In the future you will find that history here as well.
