Since starting my search over 10 years ago I'm still stuck with my brick wall, my gggrandfather Samuel H (Henry)Foster. I hope someone out there can add to this family...
My search begins with my great-great grandfather Samuel H. Foster b.6-Dec-1811 Tennessee . He was married to Elizabeth Alexander B.1818 in Ala M.3-22-1832 then married Caroline Congia Vaughan B.1830 M.9-28-1854. They had 13 children (not sure if some of these children were with Elizabeth).Samuel lived and worked in Mississippi and Alabama as a farmer.
His first 2 children were born in Alabama (Mary Elizabeth,1833& Thomas,1835) and the other children (Robert 1840,Henry Clay 1841,Jefferson Ross 1844, Malinda 1846,Catherine 1848, Harriet L 1849, Jacob T. 1850,Reubin D or B? 1851, Emily F.1853,( Samuel C 1863 MY great grandfather), and Richard Lee 1865) were born in Mississippi.
