Just starting. Want to establish contact with other Lykens in hope of finding out the disposition of my grand parents. They were Lorenzo D. Lykens who I think died in early 1900's and Amanda E. (Paris) Lykens. Whereabouts after early 1900's unknown. We have a Tin Type picture of our double great grandfather in his Civil War uniform holding a Zoulou rifle which our family still posesses. Lorenzo's son William Colonel Lykens was my father who died in 1994. Dad had a 1/2 brother John who lived in Chicago IL I think. Part of Dad's family was located in northern In. Layfette or something.
