I started research on my Suydam family about 4 years ago when my Mom gave me her old photo album. There were so many unknown faces, and I needed to find out who they were. I never knew my paternal family. I was born in Iowa, and at 3mos., we moved to Rockford, Illinois until I was 3yrs. Then we moved to Long Island, NY where my Mom's family resides, and that's where we stayed and where I still live.
