I am currently researching lines on both sides of my family as well as on my husbands side of the family. Surnames include Ball, Fechter, Wolf, Schwegler, Meyer, Aichinger, Wisniewski, Krzywoz, Thessen, Eckert, Siefert, Lyon, Hoffman, Jay and Kless. Many of my ancestors were from Alsace Lorraine. Others from Germany, Poland, England, Ireland and Switzerland. They all settled in Buffalo, NY and the Western NY area in the mid to late 1800's. I would be interested in hearing from anyone with information along these lines.
