I have reserched my family name back to William Lyon.. Came to N.C. from Maryland. GGrandfather Henry Allison Lyon born in Brevard, N.C. 1822. Grandfather Melford Lyon born 1854 in Ga.Moved to Okla. where my father Quanah Gus was born.
