Our family consists of Albert J. Lyons who came from England to Canada approx. 1900. His wife Mary Catherine Ann Urias came from a large Pennsylvania family of Dutch Germans whose lineage I can only backdate to 1860. Their oldest son of six children Melvin Bernard Lyons was my Father. My Mother, Esther Melrose Vechter was the youngest of six whose Father Andrew Vechter came from Austria with his wife Mary Barger Vechter.
