I have managed to trace my grandfather's (Cyril James Cook)family back to his grandparents James Cook and Isabella
Smith. James was born on 1st Jan 1823- place unknown, and Isabella in 1841- Launceston Tasmania Australia. They were married in the 1850's and had four children - John George, Mary Ann (both of whom died before reaching 20 yrs old) and Emily (who married Francis W Whilkes) and my great grandfather- James Henry Cook.
I would like to find out more info such as place of birth and parents names etc. for my great great grandfather James Cook. I have this info for Isabella.
