We have been collecting information for several years, on and off. The information has been collected with Family Tree Maker, family history sources, bibles, titles to burial property, oral history and internet searches in the recent past. The paternal line of this branch apparently came from Armagh County Ireland in the early 1800's. Thomas and Margaret Lytle were the parents of Robert R. Lytle (1835-1913). Robert Lytle married a first cousin Henrietta Lytle and they had seven children. All but one died in infancy or early life except John Enfield Lytle who was born in Pittsburgh PA in 1861. He married Emily Lillian Boyd of Zanesville Ohio and they had three children. Henrietta Lytle Swisshelm(1890-1956), Emily Lytle Hammond (1895- 1983) and my father John Willis Lytle (1900-1956). I have additional information which I am willing to share with interested persons.
