I am currently researching my paternal side of the family. I am looking for information about my great-great grandfather and grandmother. His name is Lemuel Beebe, possibly Charles Lemuel Beebe. My great-great grandmother is Mary Hughes. They lived in Charleston WV in 1861 when their first son Thomas J. was born. In 1865 they lived in Sprigfield, Ohio, where their second son Charles L. my great grandfather was born. In about 1867 they lived in Warren, Ky. where their third son George Franklin was born. The sons next appear in Batavia, IL where Thomas J. Married Amanda McCormack on Oct 8, 1887. Charles L. married Rosa Linda Dodd Jan 1, 1888. George Franklin appears in 1900 married to Charles L's wife Rosa Linda . There are two sisters according to Thomas J.'s obituary. Nothing is known about them. Charles L. married Wilhelmine Perleberg. They lived in Kaukauna, WI.
We have a family reunion every second Sunday of August. It is held at Jerry Beebe's home.
