Jane Mosley was born 1880, and died 1917. She married Henry Maggard, son of John Gilbert Maggard and Sally Cornett.

Jane Mosley never married but had 7 children by 7 different men. Lived in Leslie County, Kentucky, Harlan County, Kentucky, Claiborne County, Tennessee, and Lee County, Virginia. Reportedly had a sister named Lucy Mosley who married a Jim Osborne (Ausbin) and a brother James Mosley. Here's the information on her children:
(1) 1900 - lived in Cutshin, Leslie County, Kentucky as a servant in the home of Felix and Nancy Turner. Had a child by Felix, Chester Turner b. 1902 in Pine Mountaint, Kentucky. Chester married Martha Curry in Harlan County, Kentucky and resided there and had numerous children.
(2) abt 1902 - Napier, Leslie County, Kentucky - had child Bradley, by Henry Maggard. Henry married Matilda Turner and they resided in Harlan County, Kentucky and had several children. Bradley married in Harlan County, moved to Tennessee and had several children.
(3) 1904 - Kentucky - had child Lucy reported by Dave Osborne (Ausbin). Dave was reportedly a married Baptist Minister and denied Lucy when she tried to meet him. He apparently died in a housefire but not sure of date / location. Lucy married Bill West and resided in Tazewell, Claiborne County, Tennessee and had 3 children.
(4) 1909 - Kentucky - had child, Ida by Sam Kelly. Ida married first a West, and then a Harvey, and lived in Franklin, Ohio.
(5) 1910 - Claiborne County, Tennessee - in census as servant in the home of Thomas Kekky (he had sons Ben and Tilmon at home). Her 2 daughters are there with her but the sons are resided with their fathers.
(6) 1912 - near Fugate, Claiborne, Tennessee - had child, Bertha, by Ben Kelly. Bertha married W.G. West and moved to Morristown, Tennessee. She had 3 children.
(7) 1916 - Tennessee - had son, Willie, by Burl Jennings. Willie lived with her for one year, then lived with the Hammocks (sp?) of Gibson Station, Virginia. Was adopted about age 5 by James Kelly and Polly Jane Fee of Caylor, Virginia. Willie married and moved to Kentucky, Ohio, and then Oak Ridge, Tennessee where he died. He had several children.
1917 - Rose Hill, Lee County, Virginia Jane reportedly died of pneumonia, typhoid fever but cannot find burial or death certificate. Family reports she was buried in this area. Name may have been Jane Kelly plus complicating matters is that she reportedly lived with Burl Jennings at this time.
1920 - no documentation of Jane found. Her 3 daughters are living as foster children in the home of Ben Kelly and his sister Mary Saliner.
