The Major Family home page

Updated November 26, 2002

About Our Family Research

The branch of the Major family I come from has descended from French and English imigrants to North America. I hope to find out all I can about the lives of my ancestors here and in Europe.
The French branch came from the township of Montresain, in the county of Besancon. The original name of my earliest patriarchal ancestor was Claude Boutron.

If you have any information to give I would be happy to get it.
If you want any of the information I now posess of the family from his time to the present,I would be happy to provide it.
