The oldest family member that I know of is Jean Pierre mangin, born May 6, 1837 in Belgium. He was married to Melina Pissel, born May 4, 1840 and Died Feb. 24, 1893. They had a son, Emile F. Mangin who was born March 10, 1866 in Halanzy, Belgium and died July 2, 1927 and is burried in Bruxelles, Manitoba, Canada. He married Mathilde Hutlet who was born November 6, 1870 in Halanzy, Belgium and died on March 18, 1963 and got burried in Bruxelles, Manitoba. They had a son, Joseph Mangin who was born March 18, 1895 in Bruxelles, Manitoba and died March 4, 1978. He was married to Ernestine Simoens. They had a son, Gerard Mangin who was born November 17, 1925 in Bruxelles, Manitoba. He married to Florence Bisson on October 25, 1949 in Dunrea. Florence was born March 18, 1929 in Dunrea, Manitoba. They had a daughter, myself, Annette D. M. Mangin, born August 4, 1950. I married June 27, 1970 to Donald Verniest who was born Aug. 25, 1943. We have sons.
