Ronald Gene Manley born January 10, 1936, married Carroll Sue Hagebusch, born August 30, 1943, on December 11, 1965. Of this union they had four children.
Jennifer Lynn born July 11, 1966-Stephanie Christine born September 5, 1969-Rhonda Jean born October 5, 1971-Ronald Gene Jr. born August 22, 1973.
Gene died in an automobile/train accident on April 9, 1982.
Jennifer Lynn married Randy Carter, June 7, 1985, Amber Dawn born February 16, 1984-Darrell Gene born December 27, 1986-Randall Lee born March 14, 1990. Amber Dawn married James Minton on July 27, 2002. She currently attends OSU.
Stephanie Christine married Kenny Epple April 11, 1986, Aaron Tyler born September 20, 1985-Ashley Sue born August 24, 1987-Aimee Renee' born July 8, 1992. Stephanie and Kenny were divorced in 2003, she remains single at this time.
Rhonda Jean married Freddie Dixon, November 5, 1987, Freddie Shawn Dixon, Jr. born June 21, 1990-Married Dustin Long, December 11, 1994, Devin Wayne Long born May 24, 1995-Married Rick Crase Feburary 26, 1999, Ricky Neal Crase, Jr. born July 20, 2000.
Ronald Gene Jr. married Jennifer Behnke, April 5, 1997. Taylor Maree was born September 4, 1997-Caitlyn Michelle born May 25, 1999-Ronald Gene Manley III was born January 12, 2002.
The only grandchildren Gene ever saw was Michael Lee Layton and Jesse Gene Layton, his grandchildren by his daughter Rachel Ann.
They are both married, Michael Lee married Shelly, they have two children, Bailie Ann-Marie and Michael Lee, Jr. Jesse married Crystal and they have two girls, Hayle Nicole and Sammie Jean, and they are expecting their third, August 1, 2004, hopefully a boy.
