I have a family bible that starts with the birth of my great grandfather, Edward Mndeville, in 1813. It also shows his marriage to Emma Marsh in Brooklyn, NY by Rev. John Burch, no date given. He died 1850.
They had seven sons, George H. born 1834; Charles A. (my grandfather), born 1836; Stephen, born 1838; William H. H., born 1841; Elmer D., born 1843; Edward, born 1846; B.Frank, born 1849.
I also have some old documents dated in the 1700's showing ownership of land in Pequannock Township, New Jersey.

I would like to trace the family back to either Hendrick or David, the sons of Jan Giles Mandeville who immigrated from Holland in 1657.
