I have traced my father's lineage back as far as JEAN MANUEL, b. 1733 in New Orleans, and JEANNE LA PERRIERE, b. 1727 in St. George Portou, France. I am the eighth generation of this line from JEAN and JEANNE. Though I have quite a bit of info on the family history, now, I'm having problems finding info about my grandfather, LOUIS MANUEL, b. Feb. 1892 in St. Landry Parish, LA. I know he was the son of JOSEPH and FELICETTE "AZLIE" SAVOIE, both from St. Landry Parish, LA, and had two brothers-ANDRE and ALODIAS - and 2 half-sisters from first marriage - JOSEPHINE MANUEL and MARGURITE MANUEL. I can't seem to find a paper trail on him. I believe he died before my father's, CLARENCE MANUEL, birth in 1928. Would also like help with his wife, MEA (VIDRINE) MANUEL'S history.
