My family is from Lodi, CA where I was born and raised. My father's family came during the 1920's dustbowl era from Kansas to California to become farmers. My mother's family originated in Scotland and England. Her great great uncle, John McFarland is a founding father of Galt, California. He settled in that area and although he had no children, he took good care of his nieces and made sure they all had homes on the family property.
All of my cousins have now left the area and very few relatives remain in the Lodi/Galt area. It is my desire to keep my family heritage alive by scanning photos and documenting any activities that were connected with my family.
