This is the first time I've ever attempted to research the origins of my family name. It is a quest in enlightenment. My father was Guillermo Manalac Manalili and was from Pampanga. He served in the United States Navy and the Coast Guard. My mother is Marina Alvarez Satingin and is from the filipino city of Cavite. I am closer to the Satingin side of the family. But I would like to know more about the Manalili side. So, onward I go to find out about the name of the Manalilis.
