The Ernst family came to the United States on July 19, 1884 and my father was first generation born in the United States. My mother's maiden name was Scott and she was from Wise, Virginia. Her family has been in the United States for many years. Along with an Uncle, Aunt and cousin the Scott lineage has been researched for many years. Every year in June we have a Scott-Beverly reunion in Kingsport, TN.
