This books beginning were on the front porch of John and Dovie Mann. LeeNora Shaw enjoyed talking about her family and had a good mind, she and her grandson Myran would talk for hours about her memories of family past. Over 45 years has passed since these conversations took place and Myran passed on these stories
to his family and documented the stories in many sources, it was my dad's dream to put them in a book form to share to whoever would listen or had a desire to know. This book is for him.
