I am researching information on Herman Emil Kunze, born: January 2nd 1896 in Losnitz, Germany. His prarents: Fredrick G. Kunze & Lena August (Schneider) Kunze. His granparents: Christian & Christina were from Saxon, Germany and were the first to come to America in the family.
Herman came to America in 1909 at the age of 13, with his brother Otto, and cousin Otto Sonntag to live with their granparents (mentioned above).
Herman lived in Vancouver, Washington, where he did many jobs, one of which was working for the railroad, where he met the daughter of a Co-worker, who later became his wife. Herman later moved to Sunnyside, Oregon with his wife.
I am also researching information on Erna Hellen Danneman-Kunze, born: July 3rd 1901 in Stettin, Germany.
Erna came to America with her parents when she was a very small child. I do not know her parents names. But I do know that they settled in Vancouver, Washington and her father worked for the railroad with Herman Kunze.
