Anyone with the Mannikko name or background are welcome to use this site. This is not to exclude anyone who is just browsing but is meant to be an invitation to all the Mannikkos of the Storstrand, Lillistrang et.al background, genetically related or socially related by that background. Please be patient with any paths taken in this creation that prove not to be productive as I am new to recording genealogy and hope that this website will be a useful tool to bring order to a growing amount of information. My name is Liisa Irene Viola Mannikko of central Minnesota. I am of the Storstrang lineage. Hopefully I will be successful in placing myself in a tree within these pages along with many newly found relatives. 9/23/2005 Note; I now know more about Charles(Kalle)Mannikko Born Dec.15th 1890 than I do about my own Grandfather Jooseppi. Not knowing his correct position on the tree I will give Charles his own page. Whether Charles is genetically family or not he now has my attachment as family.
