researching my mothers maternal history...family records make the search quite difficult....researching my mother's paternal grandparents (Charles Mann and Maude Parker Mann)The Manns were living for an undertermined number of years in Indiana until aroud 1916-when they moved to West Virginia. Two known children: Roy Vernon Mann (1913-1983) and a daughter Blanche.

my mothers maternal grandparents...Edward Rodgers and Stella Ann (Nichols) Rodgers were from West VIrginia. According to family lore...Stella's mother was supposedly a full blooded cherokee indian...but I have no proof of the claim other than family's coloring. Their daughter Mamie Irene (Rodgers) Mann was my grandmother.
