The Muller family were located in Pondicherry around the 1850's. Albert Muller was married to Margaret Diana Potter, his occupation was a Police Inspector. Albert and Margaret had a son called John Alfred. The family lived in Black Town, Pondicherry. John Alfred married Martha Sophia Regel sometime in 1879. They had five children, John, Esther, George Ebenezer, Christian Gerald Muller and Arthur. The eldest son John left India for England on the 5th August 1903 to train as a Surgeon. He later worked in Harley Street, London. John is believed to have died in Bristol and is buried somewhere there. His family then changed his name to Miller and emigrated to San Francisco. He was married and had a son called Ian. Esther married Walter Hellien but sadly died on Christmas Day 1911. George died in 1939, in Madras. Christian moved to Rhodesia and had two sons and two daughters, Margaret and Maureen. Martha Sophia died at 27 yrs old and John Alfred married again, he married Janet Hamilton Dick who was a canadian and had six children, Beryl,Millicent,Mervyn, Robert(Robin)May and Kathleen. John Alfred died on 17th March 1923, Janet died in 1941.
