I am an American History teacher on the North Fork of Long Island. I am researching my family history and wish to be the keeper of the flame, so to speak. I began my quest in the summer of 1999, by interviewing my grandparents. I received a wealth of information but unfortunately it only scratched the surface of my workload. I also received alot of inspiration from my Father in Law, Edward Kernan. He has been compiling information on his family very diligently for about 3-4 years now. He is semi retired so I think he's got a little more time than me. I hope to lay the foundation for future generations to continue on with this project. Wish me luck in my search and Gods speed.
