Nancy Cusumano is the real name of Marilyn Monroe. Her mother's father, her grandfather was a baker by trade. She was born in Marian Illinois to two Italian immigrant parents, Carmela, Nellie and Vito. Her mother's family, the bakers moved from Illinois in 1927 and did not become bakers till after world war two in Nyc. There she had her daughter Nancy before signing with the studios in 1946. In 1947 she became in one day not only Marilyn Monroe but Norma Jeanne
Baker.

Her daughter Nancy was raised by her sister Jennie and her husband Joe.
