In my hands, I have the birth certificate of my father Sylvester, who was born in; not translated, Lujeni, Bucovinei. This we believe to be Lujen, Buconvina which is in Romania. The reason we have begun this search, is because the spelling of our last name on his Romanian birth certificate, is Mandrec. We aren't sure if when translated, this name becomes Mandryk which is our family name.
His father's name as shown on this birth certificate, is Vasile Mandrec and his mother's name is shown as Vasilissa Zaias.
Here is the information in Romanian; I suppose.

When my father came to Canada with his mother and two sisters, he made his home in Two Hills Alberta, and we don't know much more than that about any relatives which might remain in that area.
