The Manwillers of Tn. from Pa.

Updated February 17, 2002

About Our Family Research

I have been trying to find my family and on some lines I have reached a wall. I want to give others help in finding their families and maybe cross some walls my self. The names I do have include: Manwiller, Faust, Heister, Moyer, Noll, Readinger. I know my Manwiller come from the Palatinate, Germany and the Faust from near Frankfort Germany. They were Farmer, Weavers, Teachers, Butcher and Blacksmiths. My goal is not only to have a list of names but I want to know who these people were and what was going on around them at that time in history. I don't want anyone who comes after me to wonder who they are.

Family Trees (viewing trees requires 4.0 or later browser)
  • Suzanne Manwiller Family Tree (1 KB)
This is the Manwiller part of my family tree. Because of the size of my tree I had to break it up. If you find a dead end for a name look for another tree.
  • Nancy Faust Family Tree (2 KB)
This is my mothers side of the Family . The Fausts also spelled Foust in some parts of the country. Part of the Faust family moved to Tennessee and then to Texas. I have not included that information because it is incomplete. I have mainly kept to the Pa. side of the Family, other branches of spouses will be put into new trees if I have enough information.
  • Emma Moyer Family Tree (1 KB)
This is the branch of the my grandmother's family.
  • Ellen Hiester Family Tree (2 KB)
This is the branch of my Greatgrandmother. I have been told the Heisters have played very important part in Pa. history. Joseph Heister was Governor of Pa. in 1820-1832. I have also been told stories that they played an important part in building the canals found all over eastern Pa.
