TRAVIS DUNLAVY-SANTORO

Travis Dunlavy-Santoro, age 16, died on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 as the result of a swimming accident. He was born on April 4, 1991, in Monroe, the son of Lisa Santoro and John Dunlavy III. Travis was a sophomore at Black Hawk High School. Travis loved to go fishing and hunting, he especially enjoyed being with his friends and listening to music.

Surviving is his mother, Lisa Santoro of Monroe; father, John (Rachael) Dunlavy III of Gratiot; maternal grandparents, Frank and Carol Santoro of Monroe; paternal grandparents, John and Joanne Dunlavy Jr. of Blanchardville; maternal great-grandfather, Earl Lindberg of Chicago, Illinois; paternal great-grandparents, John and Mary Dunlavy Sr. of Argyle, Milford and Delores Gabioud of Argyle; brothers, Cody Rackow, Noah Amacher, and Hunter Santoro, all of Monroe; step-brothers, Codie Keene of Gratiot, Russell Hauser of Shullsburg; step-sisters, Ashlee Pennekamp of Platteville, Samantha Keene of Gratiot; and step-grandparents, Phil and Donna Gordon of Shullsburg. Travis was predeceased by maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Margaret Curtis and Frances Lindberg; cousins, Daniel Santoro and Bryant Gabioud.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 11, 2007 at 10 a.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home. Officiating will be Fr. Michael E. Klarer, of St. Victor Catholic Church, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Monroe. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Shriner-Hager-Gohlke Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Travis's memory.
