12 November 1766 mentioned in deed as "bounded by lines of Benjamin Thacker" in St. Ann's Parish along Ballenger Creek, also near Vinson and Thomas Sprouse. November 17 1767 Benjamin Thacker buys 300 acres of land of James George of Goochland Co., for 30 pounds. Land in Albermarle Co. on both sides of a Branch of Ballengers Creek called the Bold Branch and being bounded on the lines of Robert Hardee, William Moon, John Robinson and John Bellemy. May 14 1767, Benjamin Thacker buys 230 acres of land William Colvard of Louisa Co., for 23 ounds also connected to the above land in deed of November 17 1767. May 12 1770, recieved patent of 223 acres of land in the County of Albemarle, this is the same piece of land that mentions Neffeny Emmerso and was sold in December 1777.
1777 signed petition not to dissolve Fluvania County, this may be his son. March 1 1781, grant of 262 acres of land in the County of Fluvania County, on the waters of Cold Branch. Listed in Albemarle Co., Tax records 1787 with 1 white male under 21, 1 black under 16, 3 horses and 10 cattle. Wife listed as Maaartha may be Martha Sprouse who married a Benjamin Thacker on 30 April 1783 in Fluvania Co., VA Wife Martha gets Plantation from her husbands will.
